5 things to know for Djokovic-Murray Aussie final

Novak Djokovic is aiming for his sixth Australian Open championship while Serena Williams can tie Steffi Graf on the all-time Grand Slam list with her seventh title down under.

MELBOURNE, Australia – We’ve seen this before in the Australian Open men’s final: Novak Djokovic vs. Andy Murray. Only this time, can the British world No. 2 turn the tables on the heavy favorite?

It won’t be easy, Murray having lost all three previous meetings vs. Djokovic on this very stage, including in four sets last year.

Here are five things to know ahead of their Sunday night (3 a.m. ET, ESPN) showdown at Rod Laver Arena.

Head to head: Djokovic leads 21-9

These two 28 year olds are separated by just a week, but Djokovic has given himself a healthy gap in their head-to-heads, winning 13 out of the last 15 after it started out 8-7 (through the 2012 U.S. Open final)….
