It’s a problem CBS was hoping it wouldn’t have to deal with. But Tony Romo’s success in the first round of the Safeway Open has cast serious doubt on whether he’ll be on the call this weekend. 

The former Dallas Cowboys quarterback who has transitioned into the network’s lead color commentator would miss Sunday’s Minnesota Vikings-Chicago Bears game, which he’s set to call with play-by-play partner Jim Nantz, if he makes the cut Friday.
