Criminal complaints filed Monday against Derrius Guice allege that the former Washington Football Team running back attacked his girlfriend on three separate occasions, including one incident in which Guice “strangled her until she was unconscious.”

That incident allegedly took place March 13 at Guice’s home in Ashburn, Virginia, according to one such criminal complaint. It alleges that once the woman regained consciousness, Guice “was crying and tapping her.” The complaint also says that Guice allegedly “pushed her and pulled her hair more than once” on March 13.

According to the complaint, the woman had to leave to catch a flight upon regaining consciousness and left Guice’s home in a hurry. During a layover in Chicago, she photographed her injuries in a bathroom, showing a bruised neck.
