Dash-cam footage shows Eastern Kentucky linebacker Michael Harris lifting a police officer over his head during an incident that led to his arrest Monday morning in Grove City, Ohio.
According to the Grove City Police Department arrest report obtained by USA TODAY Sports, the former Auburn Tigers four-star recruit is facing four charges: assault, resisting arrest, obstructing official business and disorderly conduct. Assaulting a police officer in Ohio could be considered a felony.
A woman who worked at a local establishment called police to report a disturbance. When the first officer arrived on the scene, per the report, Harris was “agitated, not able to stand still and not able to stick to one story.” He was talking excessively, dancing and “throwing his arms around,” the report said, which led officers to surmise he was under the influence.
