SportsPulse: USA TODAY Sports’ Lorenzo Reyes provides his opinion on the five most impactful players on the NFL free agency market and why they all deserve big pay days.

Ryan Grigson is back with Andrew Berry and the Browns.

A former Indianapolis Colts general manager, Grigson is working for the Browns in an advisory and consulting role, a person familiar with the arrangement confirmed Thursday to the Beacon Journal and the USA TODAY Network. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the agreement had not been made public.

Grigson’s gig will likely evolve into a full-time job after April’s NFL draft, the person said.

The Browns hired Grigson in May 2017 to work under Berry, their new GM who held the title of vice president of player personnel in Cleveland from 2016-18.

Shortly after Berry’s predecessor, John Dorsey, became GM, he fired Grigson in January 2018. Grigson spent the past two years as a consultant for the Seattle Seahawks.
