In another season, there may have been a challenger ready to step into the Heisman driver’s seat after Louisville’s two-game losing streak to cap November.
It was during this stretch that Lamar Jackson played his worst football of the year, relative to his jaw-dropping success for most of the regular season. He was subpar in the loss to Houston and tossed three interceptions in the Cardinals’ loss to rival Kentucky.
But there is really no one else capable of stealing Jackson’s thunder. Who could possibly develop enough momentum to unseat the sophomore from atop the Heisman heap?
