SAN DIEGO – The most anticipated pairing for Round 3 of the Farmers Insurance Open had nothing to do with the leaderboard at Torrey Pines.
Jordan Spieth and Patrick Reed had a well-publicized falling out at the 2018 Ryder Cup in Paris, where the previously-powerful American duo did not play together in the loss to Europe.
Thus the excitement as soon as tee times were announced and the two were paired together, along with John Chin.
