For the second consecutive period, James’ Lakers jersey is the NBA’s most popular jersey and the Lakers have the most popular merchandise, according to sales at NBAstore.com. Results are based on sales from October through December.
Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo, who finished third last season, moved into second place ahead of Golden State’s Steph Curry. Boston’s Jayson Tatum, who made a strong push up from No. 15 at the end of last season, and Houston’s James Harden are fourth and fifth on the list.
Rounding out the top 10: Dallas’ Luka Doncic, up from No. 13 a season ago, Los Angeles Clippers’ Kawhi Leonard, Lakers’ Anthony Davis, Philadelphia’s Joel Embiid and Brooklyn’s Kyrie Irving.
New Orleans’ Zion Williamson debuted on the list at No. 15. The Lakers, Philadelphia, Houston, Boston and Brooklyn each have two players in the top 15.
