Something is going wrong in the blue side of Manchester. After winning the Premier League for the last two seasons, Manchester City has lost its ability to beat average teams in the 2019-20 season.
And those difficulties continued as the Citizens lost 2-0 at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday morning.
There were signs of trouble on September 14, when City traveled to newly-promoted Norwich. The Canaries had started the season 1-3 and were projected to take another loss at the hands of the reigning Premier League champions. But Norwich was clinical in front of goal for all 90 minutes, winning 3-2 despite being outshot 25-7.
