New York Jets unveil new uniforms with modified jerseys, helmets and pants

The NFL Draft is just weeks away. USA TODAY Sports’ Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz looks at five teams with big questions to answer in the first round.

For the first time in two decades, the New York Jets have new uniforms.

The team unveiled its fresh look on Thursday night for their 60th season in 2019.

Team president Neil Glat said the franchise’s new colors were “Gotham green,” “spotlight white” and “stealth black.”

The uniform combination includes jerseys for each color, with one horizontal stripe across the shoulders and “New York” written above the numbers on the front. Both the green and white jerseys included options for green or white pants, while the black tops are to be worn with black bottoms.

The helmets for each outfit are set to be green with a reworked logo.
