Reports: Howard hospitalized after flight

Atlanta Hawks center Dwight Howard was hospitalized late Sunday night after he returned from China, according to multiple reports.

Howard became ill on the flight back from a 10-day shoe promotional tour in China and was apparently treated for dehydration at an Atlanta hospital, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported on Monday. WSB-TV reported that Howard received fluids and was released.

Howard signed with the Hawks in July. The deal is worth $70.5 million over three years.

Howard, 30, introduced his new shoe made by Chinese manufacture Peak called “DH2” last week. He posted videos of his workouts on Instagram, where he focused on his free-throw shooting.
