Golf’s most exciting and energetic weekend is finally here.

Every two years, the best golfers in the United States and Europe square off in a three-day contest full of various matches for bragging rights and the chance to hoist the Ryder Cup.

The 41st Ryder Cup kicks off Friday at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Minnesota. FedEx Champion Rory McIlroy and 2016 Open Champion Henrik Stenson lead the reigning champion and rookie-filled Team Europe against the American big three of Jordan Spieth, Dustin Johnson and Phil Mickelson, who are looking to lead Team USA to its first win in eight years.
