Steph Curry mocks Nike-Under Armour drama

Steph Curry wants everyone to know that he’s not mad about Kevin Durant about his teammate’s shoe comments.

Back in August, Kevin Durant took a swipe at Curry’s shoe sponsor, Under Armour, saying that nobody wants to wear Under Armour.

He said at the time:

“For me, I didn’t want to go to Maryland. I didn’t want to stay home. I wanted to see what was outside that area. I don’t think a lot of kids, to be honest, they don’t choose Maryland unless they play in an Under Armour system coming up. Shoe companies have a real, real big influence on where these kids go. So, nobody wants to play in Under Armours, I’m sorry. Like, the top kids because they all play Nike.”

With Curry being the face of Under Armour basketball (and finally getting a decent-looking shoe), the two-time MVP initially took exception to what Durant said. But now, they’re all good. After the Warriors’ preseason game in China, Curry posted an Instagram photo with Durant. The sneaker war is on!

Curry wrote:

Why so serious?!? #sneakerwars

As Curry said after the podcast was released, Durant’s comments weren’t anything that would tear apart a locker room….
