FARMINGDALE, N.Y. — There’s no way to sugar coat it. There’s no silver lining. Tiger Woods looked awful once again Friday at the PGA Championship.

Bethpage Black’s lush rough had a tiger’s bite as Woods struggled from start to finish en route to a lackluster 3-over 73 in the second round of the 101st PGA Championship. Woods walked off the course at 5-over and T83, one shot outside the projected cut of 4-over. The PGA Tour announced Woods had officially missed the cut around 7 p.m. ET.
