Meet Damir Ryspayev. He plays professional hockey in Russia and he beats people up.
Here’s a video of him doing both, which results in the cancellation of a KHL game after just three minutes.
Ryspayev kicks off the festivities with a cheap shot that floors an opponent. After which, he pretends to care if the victim of his sneak attack is OK.
Meanwhile, a full-blown brawl breaks out elsewhere on the ice, prompting Ryspayev to drop the good guy routine and turn into a punch-throwing mad man.
It plays out like the movie Taken, with Ryspayev mowing down opposing players like he’s Liam Neeson looking for his kidnapped daughter in Europe.
Eventually, this hockey playing Icarus flies too close to the sun. Ryspayev gets cocky, tries to take on the entire bench and is promptly pummeled into submission,…
