Week 2 spelled trouble for several running backs, as seven left games with injuries.

Here’s the latest on how some of those players are faring:

Adrian Peterson, Vikings

INJURY: Torn meniscus in right knee
UPDATE: Coach Mike Zimmer said he has a torn meniscus. How long he will miss is still uknown, depending on the treatment he selects.

Jonathan Stewart, Panthers

INJURY: Hamstring
UPDATE: Coach Ron Rivera said Monday that Stewart would be out “at least a week or two.”

Ameer Abdullah, Lions

UPDATE: Initial x-rays came back negative on Sunday. Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free-Press reports tests showed a sprain, but Abdullah is visiting Dr. Robert Andrews for a second opinion.

Doug Martin, Buccaneers

INJURY: Hamstring
UPDATE: Martin called it a “slight tweak” and was not sure if he will miss…
